I sifted the flour and baking soda in a bowl, then I added the still cold butter, cut into cubes and kneaded until the dough took on a sandy appearance, then I added the egg yolks, green cardamom, nutmeg, powdered sugar and -a sieve and I kneaded the dough well until it is homogeneous.

I let the dough cool for about 1 hour (the longer you leave it, the better, I didn't have the patience), and after this time, I sprinkled a little flour on the worktop, took out the dough and spread it in -a sheet of a few millimeters, then I cut the shapes I wanted to try. I chose to make some biscuits with jam, so I cut 2 similar shapes, on one of them I made a hole in the middle ( I made it with a test tube from vanilla pods, but it can be made with what you have at hand).

I baked the biscuits for about 6 minutes (depending on the oven, if you see that they are browned on the edges you can take them out), then after they cooled, I put jam on an uncut biscuit and put the same shape on top but with the hole, to see the beautiful jam there.

They came out incredibly tender and tasty, and you can make them with any flavors you like.

Great appetite!

The soft butter, left at room temperature, is mixed with powdered sugar and a pinch of salt until it becomes creamy and no more sugar crystals are felt. Add the lemon peel and vanilla essence, the yolks one by one, mixing well after each one. Put the mixer aside and add the flour. Mix well until the dough is smooth, no need to knead.

  • you can flavor the dough with any other flavor you have and you will like it
  • at the end, the dough is slightly soft but not sticky. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of flour

Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour, during which time the dough will harden.

The dough is spread in a thin sheet directly on the baking paper. Sprinkle with chopped walnut kernels and brown sugar. Gently roll the nut over the nut, pressing lightly. Using the pizza knife and a ruler, cut the dough into rectangles, the size you want.

Put the tray in the preheated oven over medium heat (or 160 degrees electric oven with ventilation) for about 10 minutes, until the biscuits are lightly browned on the edges.

Remove the biscuits on a grill and leave them to cool. When they are warm, they are fragile and must be handled carefully, they harden after they cool.

Fragile biscuits with apricot and nutmeg jam

Because Santa brought me some wonderful cookie shapes, I definitely wanted to try them while I'm still on vacation, so I kept looking for a recipe that would be to my taste but also suitable for cutting with those shapes. .

After long searches and with the help of the wonderful girls, I chose Claudia's recipe, but I adapted the flavors according to my taste and what I had at hand and some fragrant biscuits with apricot jam and nutmeg came out.

350 gr white flour (type 650)

For filling the apricot jam biscuits

I sifted the flour and baking soda in a bowl, then added the still cold butter, cut into cubes and kneaded until the dough took on a sandy appearance.

I then added the egg yolks, the green cardamom, the nutmeg, the powdered sugar also given through a sieve and I kneaded the dough well until it was homogenous.

I let the dough cool for about 1 hour (the longer you leave it, the better, I didn't have the patience), and after this time I sprinkled a little flour on the worktop, took out the dough and spread it out. a sheet of a few millimeters, then I cut out the shapes I wanted to try.

I also chose to make some biscuits with jam, so I cut 2 similar shapes, on one of them I made a hole in the middle (I made with a test tube from vanilla pods, but you can do with what you have handy).

I baked the biscuits for about 6 minutes (depending on the oven, if you see that they are browned on the edges you can take them out), then after they cooled I put jam on an uncut biscuit and on top I put the same shape but with hole, to see the beautiful jam there.

They came out incredibly tender and tasty and you can make them with any flavors you like.

How to prepare fragile biscuits :

In a bowl, add the butter pieces and mix it until it becomes creamy (the butter must be at room temperature), over which we add the sugar. We continue to mix to melt the added sugar.

Over add the egg yolks and vanilla essence and continue to mix until all the sugar melts.

Add flour and salt over this composition and mix until a dough is formed. If the dough is too soft, you can leave it in the fridge for about 1 hour.

Meanwhile, beat a egg white. This step is optional, we only do it if we want to pass the biscuits through the ground walnut.

We take the dough out of the fridge and start to shape the right balls, which we put through the egg whites and then through the roasted and ground walnuts.

Put baking paper in a tray and place the molded dough balls, leaving space between them.

With something rounded at the end or even with the thumb, make a hole in the center and add your favorite jam. We used 2 types of jam: sugar-free plum jam and apricot jam. It combines the tastes very well because the biscuits are a little sour and refreshing.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the biscuits with jam for about 10-12 minutes, the top-down function of the oven.

Cantucci Morbidi (Biscuits Fragezi)

Beat the 3 eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt until they turn white, then add the melted butter. Carefully add the flour (sifted and mixed with vanillin) and mix until all the flour is incorporated.

Then put in the dough the 5 teaspoons full (or as much as you want) of candied fruit (or whatever you want) and mix carefully. Take a tray and put parchment paper that is greased with a little butter (or special spray for sweets).

With a spoon, take the dough and put it in the tray in the shape of a long stick (I got two bars). Put the tray in the oven at 355F (180C), for about 30-35 minutes. When they are slightly golden, remove the tray from the oven and let it cool perfectly.

Remove the bars on a wooden bottom and cut it diagonally. Put cantucci (biscuits) thus obtained on a plate and optionally, you can powder with a little powdered sugar.

Kiwi Biscuits (video recipe)

I added sour cream and flour and kneaded. Cut the biscuits with a knife or roll into a square shape (or whatever shape you want). We take care of the icing - we mix the carob with the milk and the yolk. Almond and carob biscuits are incredibly good and slightly crunchy! A delight for both children and adults! A simple and delicious recipe that.

I put the biscuits in the tray on parchment paper. I spread the dough with a thickness of 0. You can put them directly with the spoon in the tray, flattening them slightly. Put the biscuits in the tray on baking paper and bake in. Bananas, Desserts, Food, Mascarpone. This Pin was discovered by Boldea Laura.
