Black sesame ice cream dessert

Fry the sesame seeds in a pan over low heat, stirring constantly until they begin to crack a little. It is then ground until it becomes a thick paste.

In a saucepan, add the milk, cream, honey, vanilla and sesame paste and cook over medium heat until boiling. Beat the yolks separately with the salt powder and sugar until they become a whitish cream. Pour the sesame mixture hot over the yolks, stirring constantly. Put everything on low heat until it thickens, stirring often.

The cream is ready when after mixing with a wooden spoon it covers the back of it and passing with the finger a clean trace / line remains.

Leave it to cool in a container where we already have ice cubes (even with the pan, do not put the cream directly over the ice cubes), then we can move it to a bowl and put it in the freezer. For the first 3-4 hours, stir every 30 minutes to avoid the formation of ice crystals.

  1. To prepare the countertop, the blackberry top, mix or mix the butter with the sugar manually until the crystals melt. After that, add the four yolks, milk (at room temperature), vanilla sugar, cocoa and flour mixed with baking powder. After you have mixed everything well, pour the composition in a tray lined with baking paper or greased with oil and sprinkled with flour, then put it in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes. When you think it's ready, take the blackberry out of the oven and test the top with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it means that the top is baked. On the other hand, if there are traces of composition on the toothpicks, it means that the top must stay in the oven for a while.
  2. Until the blackberry top cools down, prepare the meringue. Beat the egg whites hard with the salt powder, then gradually add the sugar and continue the process. When you no longer feel the sugar crystals, put the meringue in a bain-marie, that is, in a steam bath. Continue to mix the composition until it binds better, then set it aside to cool.
  3. The preparation of the syrup for black tooth cake. Put all the ingredients in a small pan and boil them until the sugar melts completely.
  4. The dessert is assembled with the three elements (top, meringue, syrup) at room temperature. Spread the meringue over the counter with a spatula or a knife with a thicker blade. After that, you can spread the cocoa syrup on the entire surface of the meringue or just sprinkle it with it, then make some motorized shapes with a fork. All that remains is to cut the dessert and enjoy its texture and aroma.

Surely black tooth cake is a dessert that every woman should try at least once in her life!

Where to find the best ice cream in Bucharest & # 8211 summer 2021

Since last years, since the trend of artisanal ice cream has grown strongly in our country, we started looking for the best ice cream in Bucharest. Each place with good ice cream ended up being outperformed by another and so on.

Until recently, the most familiar to me was the taste of supermarket ice cream (full of E's, flavors and enhancers), from the kiosks in the parks (extra sweet and full of artificial flavors and colors) or at most the ice cream from Metro ce accompanies the desserts ordered through the bodegas of Bucharest. There have also been a few chains of ice cream parlors with Italian recipes, but they have a lot of transparency in the ingredients, and the goods come directly frozen from a warehouse & # 8230 in the end, I ate from there as well. I can say that initially we didn't even have the guts to try This new, artisanal ice cream what everyone was talking about, what could be so different about her?

Well, artisanal ice cream it is made by a craftsman, from scratch, using natural ingredients such as milk, sour cream, eggs, nuts, fruits. No premixes, powders, enhancers, dyes, preservatives, flavors or other unnecessary ingredients.

As the tastes are different and are not discussed, I will not make a top of Bucharest ice creams here either. Opinions are subjective and I do not claim that the best ice cream in Bucharest is from X and not from Y. There is room for everyone under the sun, I will only list below the ones I tried and I liked the one more.

The revelation of quality artisanal ice cream came to me with Friddi, the place that at that time specialized in ice cream and sorbet. Over time, specialty coffee, tiramisu and gourmet chocolate (chocolate of noble varieties) also appeared on the menu. It is always a pleasure to eat an affogato (a large globe of hazelnut or vanilla ice cream, over which 1-2 shots of espresso are poured) on the steps of Friddi. Their ice creams are made from carefully selected ingredients, with a clean label, without preservatives and palm oil, and where possible, certified organic & # 8217. The shop is on Vasile Alecsandri street no. 4, but it also delivers at home directly or through delivery platforms.

Velocita meets all the conditions for a simply delicious experience, as it presents itself: Gelato, Tiramisu, Specialty Coffee. All of them are mega tasty and very appreciated and not only I say it, but also all those who have tried them and who are queuing up in Victoria's way in the summer to taste them. Velocita is & # 8220the place to be & # 8221 this summer too, for the nice vibe it has.

I initially found out about Sweetology on the occasion of some yummy cheesecakes that they posted on instagram, but immediately after I got acquainted with their artisanal ice cream. The assortments are always changing and they always have a surprise dish from which I admit that I didn't have the initiative to taste it, because I like predictable things. In the Sweetology laboratory, in addition to ice cream, there are also some very good kinds of cheesecakes. Amzei area, but they also make deliveries.

Creamier is one of the places where specialty coffee met artisanal ice cream and that can only make me happy. Very central and close to one of our favorite places to walk (Romanian Athenaeum), Creamier provides us with sweet fuel, namely tasty ice cream for children and coffee for adults.

Puro & amp Ice Cream was highly praised by my friends with children. Maybe it was related to the name and certainly to the taste, their ice cream was a very pleasant surprise, especially for my little girl who was about 3 years old when she tried it. I remember being surprised by their laboratory, where the employees could be seen working. It is in the Campineanu area.

At Delicii Gelato I tasted ice cream for the first time, I was very curious after hearing that it is so praised. And the black sesame, the blackest ice cream among ice creams, caught my eye.

Gelato delicacies

I was taken to La Giuggiola by a friend who discovered their ice cream cakes and I liked it because it is the artisanal ice cream closest to home. They have many tasty assortments, although it is difficult for you to decide what to order and there is the possibility to create an ice cream on request, if it is not in the assortment list. Giuggiola is a species of red dates, from the sea buckthorn family. Pache area, but also delivers ice cream cakes at home.

the Jujube

There would be some more artisanal ice cream parlors that I haven't tried yet, I will list them quickly here and maybe this summer we have time to visit them: Delizia, Saint Gelato, Vicecream, Dolci coni.

If you also have in mind an artisanal ice cream parlor (small business, which produces locally, in its own laboratory, small quantities using natural products) that could be on the list of the best ice cream in Bucharest, you can leave me a comment.

Sesame seed varieties

This annual plant can grow to a height of seven meters, although most plants range from two to four feet. The white to lavender-pink flowers, resembling the appearance of foxglove, ripen into pods containing edible sesame seeds, which burst with a pop when the small seeds are ripe. Because this process spreads the seeds, the pods are often harvested by hand before being fully ripe.

Sesame seed carcasses are often removed because they contain 2 to 3 percent oxalic acid, which can interfere with calcium absorption and give a bitter taste.

The first season for sesame seeds is between September and April when the new crops are harvested. A hill is made of sesame flowers. The remaining oil cakes after pressing the sesame oil are rich in protein and are used as feed for cattle and as food for subsistence.

Soybean seed varieties

The seeds come in a variety of colors, depending on the variety of plants, including shades of brown, red, black, yellow and, most often, a gray-gray ivory. It is said that darker seeds are more fragrant, but beware of seeds that have been dyed.

Tahini is a paste of sesame seeds, which are used in many recipes from the Near and Far East. You can buy it ready in most markets, but it's pretty easy to make your own. Just try this recipe tahini house .

Unfortunately at Puro & ampBio the location is miserable & # 8230 upstairs the playground is a big mess, and in the back, where ice cream is prepared, there is a great lack of hygiene & # 8230 not to mention their infected toilets & # 8230

Pfiu. I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I've heard of Puro & # 038Bio stuff not exactly pleasant lately. I often went to them last year and it seemed ok. To be honest, I didn't go to the toilet or the playground. Thanks for the feedback, Irina!
